This post is to make an announcement about Honeybee Creek Farms.

Bottom line up front, we’re moving. It’s a rather big move too.

It almost feels like we’re going in the opposite direction. Tennessee has been very good to us. Tennessee is also a destination state. A state to which a lot of people are moving.

Honeybee Creek, however, is moving north.

We moved down to East Tennessee about a year ago. We absolutely fell in love with the Smoky Mountains, the people are friendly and made us feel right at home. In Tennessee one never runs out of things to do.

Our home isn’t too far from destinations like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you’ve been here, you know. We also love Western North Carolina. Towns like Cherokee and Maggie Valley are beautiful and quaint.

Life takes turns and the story of Honeybee Creek Farms has taken a turn.

Sparing you the details, we’re on our way back up north to Maryland.

I was stationed in Maryland while still in the Army and have lived there before when I was serving as the Town Manager in Hancock, MD. It is kind of a second home to us by now.

The farm will remain the farm. We are rebranding and will adopt a new name, Hilltop Haven Farms, named after the road we will be setting up shop again.

We have a lot of work to do both to prepare for the harsher winters in Maryland and to get ready for next spring.
