The perfect compliment to any Christmas dinner
Honey is a super food. Not only does it go perfectly with your morning tea, honey is awesome to cook both sweet deserts and savory dishes.
Thinking of new and exciting side dishes to go with your holiday meals? Turn to honey. It is just fabulous in a wide variety of main courses and side dishes.
Today we’re looking at the vegetable course. Honey roasted vegetables are simple and simply delicious. This recipe will pair well with your Christmas ham, or other meats like turkey, prime rib, beef wellington or almost anything.
A simple, flavorful side dish that pairs perfectly with any main course.

Course: Side Dish
Ingredients
- 1 pound mixed vegetables Cut into 1-inch piece your favorite vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, potatoes, sweet potatoes, bruselsprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower are all great options.
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the vegetables, olive oil, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Roast: Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Serve immediately: Enjoy the vegetables hot, straight from the oven.
Notes
Add some spice: For a little kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce to the vegetables before roasting.
